The Association of Parents of Persons with Disabilities Kilkis "Vimatizo" was founded in 1994 in Kilkis and today has nearly 100 members. Since 2004 it is a member of the Pan-Hellenic Federation of Parents of Persons with Disabilities (POSGAmeA) and from 2013 participates with a  representative, at  the General Council of the National Confederation of People with Disabilities. It also is  a partner in the  "center for Social Support" which was established in 1994 an  initiative taken by  the Prefecture of Kilkis and our Association It is registered with: -The  National  Register of the  Non -Profit  Institutions of the  Private Sector,  Register number 02304SYE12046O38N/0758 and The  Special registry of the Voluntary Non Governmental Organizations, Register  number 02304SYE12046O38N/0758 . It is certified - as a non profitable organization of  social services  by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and  holds  a Management Proficiency Type B and Type C. Our experience in the disability sector and our collaboration both  at the local city  level  and nation-wide with Institutions of Special Education is the driving force for the implementation of new actions . Moreover, the Organization realized  European projects as either a promoter or as a partner in previous years. Headquarters of the Association is housed on 3  Gialamidi Street  in Kilkis.
